Summer of 98 (Seattle, Rainier, City Center)
Our car Seattle Rainier valley Rainier valley Tammy at the Space Needle Tina in the Science Center garden
Here's a picture of us soon after we got our new car, a Chevy Cavalier. When my sister came to visit us from NY, we took her to all of the sites. The picture of the city is from West Seattle near Alki beach. The next two are some more pictures of the Mt. Rainier valley when I took my sister hiking. Tammy and I went to the Space Needle and Science Center and here are two pictures of us enjoying the sites.

Summer of 98 (Renaissance Fair, Oregon coast)
Magician Knights Ren skit Tammy and Adrian Tammy at ocean
Here's some pictures I took of the local Renaissance fair in Carnation, WA. It's much smaller than the one I'm use to in Sterling, NY but it was just as fun. They had various skits and entertainment throughout the area. The actors/actresses were great and you could tell that they enjoyed what they were doing. The first image is of the magician, who really knew his stuff. The second is of a dual between knights. I felt sorry for them to be fighting in the hot sun with so many layers on. The last one is them bowing after a skit. This particular skit had two of the men acting as nuns. It was hilarious.
The last two pictures are from when we took Tammy to the Oregon coast. It was the first time Adrian and Tammy touched the Pacific Ocean. We also visited the sea lions that are on the southern Oregon coast, it has a great view. I made Tammy pose and the picture didn't turn out too bad.

Summer of 98 (Woodland Zoo, WA)
Bald eagle Leopard Butterfly Butterflies
Tammy and I went to the local zoo for the first time. Took a picture of the eagle, since it was the closest I had ever been to one. My picture of the leopard didn't turn out too bad so I had to include it. They had a special butterfly exhibit when we went and that was awesome. You walked into a big net building that had butterflies flying all over the place. The flowers were pretty too. We also were able to watch a butterfly break out of its cacoon and hang up to dry.
