Welcome to page three of Tina and Adrian's

from Tina's point of view.
Fall of 98 (Yakima Valley and Foilage)
Adrian's parents took us on the wine trail
in the Yakima valley when we went to
visit them. All three pictures are from one of the local wineries. We had a great
view from the wineries hill top perch. Our two favorite are
Covey Run and Bonair.
The other two pictures are an example of what the leaves look
like in the fall. Not as pretty as NY and the season isn't as long. Our fall lasts all
of two weeks it seems.
Winter of 98/99 (Christmas and Gig Harbor, WA)
Here are three pictures from Christmas. We bought our first artifical tree this year.
A 7 1/2 foot Canadian Pine. It felt so much more like Christmas with a descent tree,
especially since there's no snow to create the mood of the season. The tree was so
big that it took up our entire window and we couldn't put a tree topper on because
it was too close the the ceiling. The other two, are of us opening presents at Adrian's
parents house. That's Adrian's sister Allison, on the other side of him.
The next
picture is of a geodesic home being build in Gig Harbor with Adrian standing in front
of it. We went to see one being built by the owners and volunteers. Since
we were in Gig Harbor I figured that I may as well get a picture of the harbor. Even
though the camera didn't pick it up very well, Mt Rainier is in the background.
Spring of 99 (Boeing, Snoqualmie Falls)
This is a picture of the cubicle I had at Boeing.
How did I sneak the camera passed the guards you ask? I'm sorry, I didn't hear your
question? By the way that's Brad prairie
doggin in the background. The other photo is of the three guys I made friends with
while working at Boeing. They were all contract labor like me. Craig on the left is
from the Rochester/Buffalo area like me. He's a working as a web designer now with
various internet sites. Brad in the middle had been at Boeing the longest of us four.
He's a very talented illustrator. John on the right is a graphic designer who is
responsible for a lot of the BBJ material and children merchandise in the Boeing
catalog.
On the first day of spring we went to Snoqualmie Falls. Unfortunately,
everyone had the same idea as us. The hike down to the base of the falls is NOT for
the physically challenged. I had to stop twice on the way back up. To understand just
how large this waterfalls truely is, those are people on the rocks below.
